Beginnings and Endings

I said farewell to my lovely Sixth form students this week and it made me realise that we have now started the process of saying goodbye. Our leavers theme was ‘being brave’; to take chances and try all the experiences that a new part of your life has to offer. I can’t think of a better piece of advice to give to anyone.

But saying goodbye also means that you will be leaving people behind, and that’s the really hard part. So good luck to my students with their own beginnings and endings, and thank you to our friends and families, who understand our need to travel, and to everyone who is ‘being brave’.
