The Bungles were impressive though, and even in the 30+ heat, worth the effort, and the Cathedral and Echidna Gorges got a \u2018whoa\u2019 from the boys.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1687\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03588.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1687\" class=\"wp-image-1687 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03588-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"DSC03588\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" data-wp-pid=\"1687\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03588-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03588-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03588-600x450.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1687\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cathedral Gorge<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A drive west and we arrived at <em>Derby,<\/em> for our Horizontal Falls journey. Ben and I had first seen this on an Attenborough programme a couple of years ago, and was something we\u2019ve been looking forward to, as they occur nowhere else in the world. From here, we were taken through the falls on a 900 hp boat, giving us not only a great view but a thrilling ride too!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03858.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-1681\" src=\"http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03858-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"DSC03858\" width=\"327\" height=\"245\" data-wp-pid=\"1681\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03858-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03858-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.walkerfamilytravels.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03858-600x450.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 327px) 100vw, 327px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We met another lovely Aussie family, the Taylors, who instantly made friends with the boys and had amazing experience swimming in a shark cage, feeding chunks of fish to half a dozen large, hungry Tawny Nurse Sharks.
